OUR STORY
Thai curry paste represents the wisdom and culinary science passed down through generations by ancestors in various regions of Thailand. Krua Phakin originated from a collective effort to share and preserve the food wisdom of different regions within the community, leading to the establishment of the Huai Krajao Community Enterprise for Phrik Gaeng. The foundation of this enterprise lies in the unique knowledge, skills, and exceptional local ingredients of the community, combined with food technology that preserves the aromatic qualities of herbs and spices, as well as innovative production methods that maintain the authentic fragrance and flavor of the curry paste. As the group grew, it later evolved into the company Krua Phakin.
Our Key Strength
This is an authentic, traditional curry paste, born from the collective wisdom of local community members in the enterprise, combined with research from Kanchanaburi Rajabhat University. The innovation of 'Separating Out Water' technology is used to produce a dry curry paste that retains its original color, aroma, and texture—making it more economical to use and extending its shelf life.
Products from Krua Phakin are ready-to-use and undergo a preservation process that expertly maintains their fragrance, taste, and texture while preserving the herbal essence infused in Thai cuisine. They uphold the nutritional value, traditional Thai flavors, and the authentic taste of original ingredients. Most importantly, they fully retain the aromatic richness of the herbs used and, above all, the deliciousness of true Thai food.
